Questions & Answers
Is CBD/Hemp oil legal?
CBD oil is also known as hemp oil since the product itself is CBD oil that is extracted from the hemp plant. This oil does not contain THC like the marijuana plant does, and it does not have any psychoactive properties. Because hemp oil is considered food-based, there are no restrictions on the production, sale, or consumption in the United States. CBD oil is legal in most countries around the world.
What is the endocannabinoid system (ECS) and how does CBD work?
The endocannabinoid system (ECS) regulates the neural activity and most of our physiological systems in the body. It regulates memory, emotions, pain, inflammation, and other metabolic functions. It contains cannibal-like compounds called endocannabinoids throughout the brain and nervous system. It has sometimes been compared to a dimmer switch that can be moved up and down, constantly trying to bring balance to the body. While we still have a lot to learn about the endocannabinoid system, we do know a few things; CBD from hemp plants and THC from marijuana plants interact in some way with your ECS, although we aren’t quite sure how. We know this is why CBD and THC tend to help relieve pain, inflammation, anxiety, and other ailments, and even seem to aid in the restoration of the body. Recently, studies have shown that it’s possible that a malfunctioning ECS might be the cause of many autoimmune conditions like MS, IBS, and fibromyalgia, and might even be the cause of migraines.

Can cannabis cause an allergic reaction?
Just like pollen from trees, grasses or weeds, marijuana pollen may trigger allergic reactions in a very small minority of people. This subject has not been studied in-depth, but there are scientific studies that point to allergic reactions caused by cannabis. If you choose a product that is GMP certified you minimize the risk of contamination with allergens. At Bespoke we offer the finest quality cannabis extracts on the market that are GMP certified. This means that our products contain no hazardous chemicals that can cause an allergic reaction.
What is a Certificate of Analysis?
A Certificate of Analysis, or COA, is not limited to the CBD industry. There are many products that require a COA before a product can be administered or sold. Having a COA shows that your products are made to a specification. In the case of CBD, the COA also indicates the number of cannabinoids found in each product. In addition to cannabinoids, this certificate should show details on the levels of heavy metals, pesticides, solvents, and THC found in each individual batch of CBD. COAs are meant to keep customers safe and informed, but they also help emphasize quality. Our COAs prove that we are an industry leader in terms of product quality, safety, and consistency.
