Whether you bake like you’re the next contender for The Great British Bake Off or aren’t totally confident in operating an Easy-Bake oven, you can impress your friends and family with some of these holiday recipes. Besides being delicious, most offer health benefits to boot. But the addition of CBD is the real icing on the cake. Give them a try for Hanukkah, Christmas, or anytime.

Dark Chocolate CBD Peppermint Bark

Chocolate and cannabis, like chocolate and peppermint, is a perfect pairing. This recipe, courtesy of Bliss by Ris, puts them all together to create a healthy, mouthwatering treat.

Time: 15 minutes
Servings: 15 pieces

¼ cup melted coconut oil
¼ cup dark cacao powder
3 ML CBD tincture
8 drops chocolate stevia or sweetener of choice
2 Tbsp. crushed peppermint

Mix all ingredients except the crushed peppermint. Pour into an 8×8 baking dish and place it in the freezer for two minutes. Pour the peppermint on top and put it in the freezer again until completely frozen. Break up the pieces and re-freeze. Serve cold.

CBD Eggnog

Eggnog is a quintessential holiday beverage. But, especially when alcohol is included, it isn’t exactly the healthiest. This CBD eggnog isn’t just booze-free, but it’s vegan, too, giving it double the health benefits and all of the flavor of its traditional counterpart.

Time: 10 minutes
Servings: 2

2 cups hemp milk
4 cups frozen coconut meat
3 Tbsp. maple syrup
2 teaspoons raw chia seeds
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
4 drops CBD tincture, or more if desired (orange, vanilla, or honey-flavored is ideal)
⅛ teaspoon salt
⅛ teaspoon ground cinnamon
⅛ teaspoon nutmeg

Add all of the ingredients except the nutmeg and place in the blender. Blend until smooth. Divide mixture into two glasses, sprinkle nutmeg on top, and serve.

CBD Pumpkin Spice Latte

If eggnog is *the* cold-weather beverage, at least traditionally speaking, pumpkin spice lattes are a very close second. You don’t need to go to Starbucks to get your fix, either. Making your own at home is not only a budget-friendly alternative, but it also lets you customize it with CBD. This drink, inspired by Minimalist Baker, is vegan to boot.

¾ cup dairy-free milk
¼ cup of water
2-3 tablespoons pumpkin puree
Half a heaped teaspoon of pumpkin pie spice mix
⅛ teaspoon fresh-ground black pepper
1-2 teaspoons maple syrup
1 shot espresso
30 drops of vanilla-flavor CBD oil
Optional: whipped cream and cinnamon

Add the dairy-free milk and water to a small saucepan and bring it to a simmer over medium heat. Add the pumpkin puree, pumpkin pie spice mix, and maple syrup. Whisk until smooth. Pour in the espresso and add the CBD oil. Stir until smooth. Adjust the flavor to your liking by adding more spice mix, coffee, or maple syrup. If you prefer, serve with whipped cream and cinnamon on top.

CBD Gingerbread and Apple Cake

We’re not ready to say goodbye to autumn just yet. If you’re in the same boat and have a few apples leftover from orchard-picking, this CBD gingerbread apple cake is for you. Not only does this sweet and spicy ginger-apple combo warm the soul, but these ingredients offer a host of health benefits, including immune-boosting properties. It’s also gluten-free and vegan!

Dry Ingredients:

¾ cup gluten-free brown rice flour
¾ cup gluten-free buckwheat flour
¼ cup sunflower seeds
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon cinnamon
½ teaspoon nutmeg
¼ teaspoon chili powder
¼ teaspoon ground cloves
Pinch of pink Himalayan sea salt

Wet Ingredients:

1 teaspoon fresh grated ginger
¼ cup pure cane sugar
¼ cup maple syrup
⅓ cup applesauce (homemade is best!)
¼ cup molasses
⅓ cup distilled water
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
¼ cup of coconut oil
1 dropper full of CBD tincture (lemon flavor preferred)
1 tablespoon raw chia (place this in ¼ cup of warm water to create a paste)

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Line a cake pan with parchment paper. Mix dry ingredients. Ensure applesauce is cool (if fresh-made) and mix all wet ingredients in a bowl, except the chia. Mix the dry mixture slowly into the wet mixture. Add the chia paste and stir everything together well. Place mixture into the pan and distribute evenly. Bake for 25 minutes, until browned.

Rosemary Roasted Potatoes

This next recipe may be the easiest of the bunch. Inspired by An Italian in My Kitchen and courtesy of Healthy Hemp Oil, these rosemary roasted potatoes drizzled with CBD oil are a great side-dish.

3 lb large starchy potatoes, peeled and cut into quarters
4 large sprigs of fresh rosemary, washed and removed from stems
3 cloves of garlic, minced
6 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
Half a tablespoon sea salt
2 teaspoons oregano
30 drops of natural flavored CBD oil

Preheat oven to 350 F
Fill a pot with salted water and bring the potatoes to a boil in the pot for 4-5 minutes. Drain thoroughly and mark the sides of the potatoes with a fork to make a criss-cross pattern. Place the potatoes in a mixing bowl and add garlic and rosemary. Drizzle the olive oil and add CBD drops. Then generously sprinkle with salt and oregano. Toss to ensure the potatoes are thoroughly coated. Put the potatoes into a large roasting tin. Arrange into a single layer. Cook for about 1 hour and 20 minutes, turning them regularly to ensure they crisp evenly. Serve immediately.
